I’m a UX Researcher and Designer looking for work in the software industry.

My Mission

As a user experience researcher, my mission is to create meaningful and effective products that truly resonate with users. I believe that by conducting rigorous research and testing, I can gain deep insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points. With this understanding, I can help product teams design and develop products that are intuitive, user-friendly, and solve real-world problems. Ultimately, my goal is to improve the user experience by delivering products that users will love and find valuable. I am passionate about my work and am committed to making a positive impact in people's lives through the products I help create.

UX Researcher

GoTo (formerly LogMeIn)

Feb 2017 - Sept 2022

Collaborating cross-functionally with Design and Product Management, I defined key research questions and designed studies that provided actionable insights. Using qualitative methods and moderated interviews, I observed people using products to better understand their needs and assess critical changes in UI. My role was on the Identity team, where I managed user login credentials, multi-factor authentication, profiles, and administration. Working closely with the commerce and customer care teams, I managed settings, updated product SKUs, and created user roles and permissions. Additionally, I assisted with small design projects for the admin team, designing the interface and flow of the scheduled reports feature.

During my time on the customer care team, I helped with logistics and operations. I conducted research to determine the volume and severity of issues customers faced and helped identify optimum paths for users to find solutions. This involved identifying gaps in our support site articles for self-service support, training the algorithms used to sort calls into their topics using voice-to-text software, and identifying flaws in our inbound phone support pipeline.

Research Recruiter/Assistant

Citrix Online

May 2016 - Feb 2017

As a research recruiter, my primary responsibility was to contact potential study participants, conduct screening interviews to determine eligibility, schedule remote interviews for researchers, and distribute research incentives to qualified participants.

In addition, I provided support in various research tasks, including note-taking, data analysis, and summarizing high-level findings. I also had the opportunity to design and run small studies with the support of researchers.

Research Assistant

Fielding Graduate University

Jun 2013 - Nov 2013

During my time I helped analyse the data from a study on the efficacy of a learning intervention program. I computed a figure based on the child's frequency of use of the program, and compared it to their test scores before and after the intervention program.
